Hope you have fun looking at my creations and other things I love in life.... calligraphy is my passion, but so is my family... consisting of "the love of my life", my hubby, and my three miniature long haired dachshunds. You'll see lots of them here. Loved this quote: There’s something sacred about reading a blog post on someone else’s site. It’s like visiting a friend’s house for a quick meal ’round the breakfast table. It’s personal—you’re in their space, and the environment is uniquely suited for idea exchange and uninterrupted conversation. In many ways, we should be treating our blogs like our breakfast tables. Be welcoming & gracious when you host, and kind & respectful when visiting.” – Trent Walton

THE most beautiful envelope...

This is the "promised" upload of the greatest envelope I have ever received..... I am in the local envelope exchange with our calligraphy guild and once a month I send a recipient an envelope as well as receive one in return. Well... THIS month, Holly Z. decided to do some sleuthing around my Facebook page (she said so, but I couldn't even find where I posted this photograph of my dog Fleckie) and pulled a picture off to use as inspiration for this month's envie to me. So, this is the original photo.. I couldn't find it on my FB or even in the computer...so I took a picture with my camera of the photo copy that she included inside my envelope. Below that, is the colored pencil rendering she did on MY envelope. It's the MOST beautiful envelope I have ever received because it is one of my "kids". Of course I am a little partial to them than anything else. I was amazed and stunned.. happy as a clam! THANK YOU, Holly!
