Wonderful Holiday Season!

We've been having a great time during Kevin's vacation and of course have frequented Chuy's as well as taken in a movie or two.  We went to see "True Grit" the other day, as "Western's" are Kevin's favorite genre of movie.  It was very well done and I enjoyed it very much, too! 

The weather has been quite fair compared to what they are getting in the northeast... my old stomping ground.   We had a wonderful Christmas with all our friends and loved ones sending gifts of their love.  THANK YOU to everyone for thinking of us and you will be getting cards in the mail shortly!  I just don't know where the time goes, though....

Only a few more days....

 Well.... it's in the 70s, typical for Texas winter, and there is only a few days remaining till Christmas.  I think we are going to trek down to San Antonio and see all the lights and activity on the RiverWalk this week since Kev is off from work.  I always remember it fondly and I know that it will be a memory.  I wish I could tell you how much fun I've been having the last few weeks and why, but it's a secret until January. 

Anyway... know that I have just been busy and preoccupied .. that is why I am so behind on my Christmas correspondence as well as my OTHER stuff.   May you all have a Blessed Christmas.... Love and hugs, Trish and Kevin too!  The girls send their wags and licks, too!

Christmastime is coming.....

Well, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas HERE in Central Texas, even though the temperature today is well above normal.  Yes... this is what Texas looks like in December.  Today, it reached 76 degrees and was just wonderful!  Recently, we've had our share of cold and today was a nice respite even though the wind was a little crazy.  It's always nice to "rub it in" on the folks up north when they start getting that white stuff and we are donning our Bahama shorts and Teva's. Eat your heart out!  Actually, I wish all my family and loved ones could be here with us during the holidays instead of elsewhere.  I have part of my wish come true, though....

Sorry to be so remiss in writing on my blog. This time of year, due to the season's busy-ness that I  experience, always ends up this way.  I have so much on my mind to write about, but just never have the chance... Right now, I really feel I should be writing out some Christmas cards, but decided to type a short post to say Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all of my "loyal followers" on my blog.  I wish I could give you all big hugs or sports cars, or plasma tvs, or whatever your heart's desire, but all I can offer right now is my love and blessings.  I hope to write more soon.  Stay tuned and God Bless.  XO
