Hope you have fun looking at my creations and other things I love in life.... calligraphy is my passion, but so is my family... consisting of "the love of my life", my hubby, and my three miniature long haired dachshunds. You'll see lots of them here. Loved this quote: There’s something sacred about reading a blog post on someone else’s site. It’s like visiting a friend’s house for a quick meal ’round the breakfast table. It’s personal—you’re in their space, and the environment is uniquely suited for idea exchange and uninterrupted conversation. In many ways, we should be treating our blogs like our breakfast tables. Be welcoming & gracious when you host, and kind & respectful when visiting.” – Trent Walton

Paste paper Projects

So, WHAT TO DO with all this paste paper you ask!? Well... here is a great little book that I created mainly to show my students some of the uses. I had been wanting to utilize a song/quote that I heard awhile back from a very special person who is no longer with us... Eva Markvoort. So, this would have been for her, if she was here "in the flesh", but now my Cyster, only in spirit!

With just ONE sheet of paper, that doesn't even necessarily need to be painted on both sides, you just fold it four times and make one cut to create this beautiful little card/booklet. It can have 6 pages or by just using the right facing pages, only three.

I love this color combo... I wish they showed up better on the screen 'cause the greens are so much more richer than they look, at least on my monitor. Enjoy! Oh, and GIVE LOVE away!
Trust me, you'll be so much richer for it!

  1. Didn't know you had a blog. Looking forward to learning more calligraphy. I found you through a comment you made on a friends blog.

    Peaceful Things.
